• Update: Friends For Life Conference 2013 (Giveaways!)

    UPDATED: Congratulations to our winners!

CVS/pharmacy diabetes care packages will go to Cassandra W., Lisa P., and Vickie S.

Tallygear accessories will go to Becca P., Evelyn F., Eliana H., Shelly S., Misty F., Jonathan D., Karen T., and Amber G.

If you are one of the more than 3,000 attendees at the CWD Friends For Life Conference in Orlando, FL this week, make sure to stop by our space in the exhibit hall (which is opens tonight!) to say hi, and to enter to win prizes! This year, two companies are supporting You Can Do This Project through multiple giveaways offered at our booth. Winners will be selected at random on Friday, at the close of the exhibit hall, and winners will be contacted afterwards to arrange shipping – best of luck to those who enter!

Friends For Life attendees may enter to win one of the following, provided by Tallygear.com. We have two of each item to give away!

We are also fortunate enough to have diabetes care packages made possible through CVS/pharmacy’s ECAD program to give away to three lucky winners! Package contents may vary, but will look something like this:

Thanks go to both Tallygear and CVS/pharmacy for supporting You Can Do This Project through these giveaways!

  • Year One.

The You Can Do This Project turns one year old today!

    It all started with this:

    …and it keeps going strong.

Have you been meaning to do a video, but just never got around to it? It’s never too late.

Chances are there’s someone out there dealing with the very same thoughts, feelings and frustrations as you who needs to hear your story. Someone who thinks it’s just them; who thinks that no one understands; who feels so completely alone.

They need to hear from you.

Use whatever means you have necessary to record video (camera phones work too, ya know…), upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, and shoot me a link (youcandothisproject at gmail dot com) to it so that I can get it on the You Can Do This website and YouTube channels.

It doesn’t have to be perfect. Nothing is perfect. In fact, it’s more powerful when it isn’t.

Share your story – be a light in someone’s darkness.
